Lincoln Memorial Washington DCThe Lincoln Memorial is an American national landmark raised to respect the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is spotted on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. crosswise over from the Washington Monument. The draftsman was Henry Bacon, the artist of the essential statue – Abraham Lincoln, 1920 – was Daniel Chester French, and the painter of the inner part wall paintings was Jules Guerin.
