Mount Everest is placed on the fringe of Nepal and Tibet, China. Mount Everest is spotted in the Himalaya, the 1500 mile (2414 kilometer) extended mountain framework that was shaped when the Indo-Australian plate crashed into the Eurasian plate. The Himalaya rose in reaction to the subduction of the Indo-Australian plate under the Eurasian plate. The Himalaya carries on to ascend a few centimeters every year as the Indo-Australian plate keeps moving northward into and under the Eurasian plate.
Everest is part of the Himalaya mountain run in the outskirt of Nepal and Tibet. It is placed 27° 59' North scope, 86° 55' East longitude. The official elevation of the planet's topmost crest is 29,029 feet (8,848m). On the other hand, the National Geographic Social norms have a dead set the stature to be 6 feet tall, 29,035 feet, but the Nepali legislature has not yet been made this brand new height official.
