North Columbia formed in Chapel Hill in 2009 and since then has played a mix of acoustic and full-on rockish shows - learning in the process that we love the intimate coffee house feel as well as the energy of larger venues. We play all-original music which is difficult to describe, maybe "alternative folk-rock with a bit of roots-ska thrown in", if we're forced to put a name to it.
